Location:Family Dental Care of NJ (High Tech)Temporary Dental AssistantWestfield, NJSalary: $30 - $32 per hourLove temping as a Dental Assistant but looking for consistent hours over the next few weeks?High Tech Dentistry in Westfield, NJ is looking for a Temporary Dental Assistant to join our team!Enjoy the flexibility of temping with the benefit of a reliable, consistent schedule.Schedule:Monday: 12 PM – 8 PMTuesday: 9 AM – 5 PMThursday: 12 PM – 7 PMPay: $30–$32 per hourIf you're an experienced Dental Assistant looking for a great short-term opportunity, we'd love to hear from you!Duties/ResponsibilitiesGreet and prepare patients for treatment in a timely, pleasant, and professional manner.Sterilize and prepare instruments for tray setups before dental procedures.Take diagnostic-digital imaging as prescribed by the dentists.Practice within the legal scope of assistant duties with or without certification, depending on state regulations.Maintain meticulous records on patient charts and documents.Setup and breakdown rooms according to infection control protocols between patients.Communicate patient and equipment needs with co-workers.Other duties as assigned by Practice Leader and/or Dentist.Required Skills/AbilitiesAdhere to OSHA guidelines, HIPAA Privacy Policy, and clinical operating procedures.Work with and maintain all dental equipment.Positively contribute to a respectful and collaborative working environment.Facilitate patient comfort, care, and satisfaction in a professional manner.Present to work during scheduled shifts (see office manual for specifics).Education and ExperienceAt least one year of dental assisting experience.Current CPR certification.Other State License/Certification Requirements based on the state you are employed.Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) Certification preferred.FLSA Status:Non-ExemptWe are an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
